Rhetoric in Action Day, Spring 2016

On April 21 and 25 during the spring 2016 semester, almost 500 FYC students from 1102 classrooms participated in Rhetoric in Action. Rhetoric in Action is designed to showcase student work that is completed during project 3. Students research a topic, compose an argumentative essay about their point of view concerning the topic, and then re-mediate their work into a digital format, such as a website or a video. The students bring their projects to Rhetoric in Action in order to demonstrate how their work can translate to an audience outside of the composition classroom.
